About Us
Champlain Software provides consulting,
training and administrative software solutions for small college administration.
Our goal is to ensure that fx/Scholar will
meet your current, and future, administrative requirements.
2007 –
Champlain Software
provides
free file hosting services (as part of the annual maintenance fee) with
Web/Tools, Champlain Software’s web based application. A Customer
Relations Department is introduced. This department is charged with
developing and maintaining a relationship with users to help us communicate more
effectively. We also expand our training services and provide
web based training.
2006 –
Easy Report Manager makes reporting and distribution of reports a
snap! Based on a data warehouse model, users may download data and filter
results with this intuitively easy reporting tool. Easy Report Manager is
provided free to schools actively enrolled in the annual maintenance program.
2005 - Web/Tools
and My Campus Portal
web based applications are available. Browser
based applications plug into existing school web pages to allow student
registration, academic advisement, admissions application and recruit data
collection online. Faculty may review class lists and course schedules through
an internet browser. Safe and Secure!
2004 -
R5 fx/Scholar
is released. A new look and
feel makes the applications even easier to use. Incorporating easy to install
web interfaces and email capabilities are just some of the ways the software
grows with the current user demands!
1997
- fx/Scholar
is shipped. The software is a
suite of integrated Windows based applications. The move to Windows allows our
customers, old and new, to take advantage of the capabilities only found within
the Windows environment. Tighter integration of word processing, advanced
report writing, and a move to a true, relational database design, ensure that
Champlain Software continues to meet the changing requirements of our current,
and future clients.
1985
- The first version of the Champlain Software Solution released for IBM PC and
IBM-compatible personal computers. This easy to use stand-alone application
allowed smaller institutions the opportunity to automate their basic
administrative tasks.
1984 -
The first Champlain Software Solution for personal computers created. Designed
with the needs of smaller institutions in mind, the applications can be
installed in a modular fashion to meet the specific needs of each institution.
1982
- Champlain Software, Inc. established, based on the work begun at a small
community college located in Burlington, Vermont. IBM System/ 36 applications
offered to small colleges and universities.
